Originally from Perth, Georgie studied acting at the Victorian College of the Arts in 2004. Her theatre credits there included Three Sisters, Anna Karenina, Mad Forest, Pericles and Unity 1918.

There she met directors Mary Sitarenos and Robert Draffin (Draf) of Liminal Theatre who have greatly influenced her creative practice. She later became a company member of Liminal Theatre where she performed in numerous productions.

For Liminal Theatre Company Georgie has performed in A Drovers Wife Untold, directed by Robert Draffin, Antigone - the Descent Across the Bridge of Acheron and the Green Room Award winning production Oedipus – a poetic requiem directed by Mary Siterenos. Other theatre credits include Summer of the Seventeenth Doll, Cosi, Life of Galileo and The Crucible (all for Complete Works Theatre Company).

She has toured nationally for The Australian Shakespeare Company playing the role of Hermia in A Midsummer Night’s Dream. She has toured to Edinburgh in the new Australian play An Air Balloon Across Antarctica which was nominated for the prestigious Fringe First award.

Georgie has worked with renowned Indonesian theatre company Teater Popular, on a collaborative piece between Liminal and Teater Popular; The Ghost of Oedipus: Universal Eye of the Future directed by Artistic Directors Slamet Rahardjo and Robert Draffin.

Georgie’s screen credits include television series Neighbours, Sudden Impact, Tangle, Killing Time as well as independent feature films A Minor Glitch and No Appointments Necessary (written/directed by Johnny Flynn). Georgie played the lead role Monica in The Testosterone Club, an award-winning short film directed by Laura Jane Turner  based on the original short story by Cate Kennedy. This darkly funny and feminist film won best cast performance in the 2022 International Diversity Film Festival.

Georgie works extensively as a Voice Over artist. Her voice can be heard on the airwaves on advertisement campaigns for World Vision, Cheap as Chips Cleaning, The Australian Diamond Company and Australia Post to name a few.

In late 2023 she performed The Selkie Project, a one woman show written/performed by Georgie in collaboration with Liminal Theatre. This piece follows the story of a Selkie and her daughter- a mythical ocean creature displaced and drowning on land. This sold out production, directed by Draf Draffin featured a spectacular soundscape by Meta Cohen and breathtaking imagery by Ivanka Sokol, will have a return season in 2024.
