Georgie is an Actor, Director and Voice Over artist.

Her theatre background is a rich tapestry of roles spanning classical and contemporary texts, as well as film and television roles. Georgie is a passionate and fiercely curious storyteller, with a particular preoccupation with mythology and folk law for it’s fascinating subterranean deep-dive into culture, human desire, history and gender. Her projects and role choices are often influenced by this preoccupation. She has played the titular role in Antigone as well as collaborated and performed in an all-female re-imagining of Ted Hughes’ Oedipus.  In 2022 she received funding through  Regional Arts Victoria to further her creative practice. This creative development culminated in a one woman show- ‘The Selkie Project’ which  follows the story of the Selkie, a seal-woman, displaced into an unfamiliar human world. The work also traces the generational fracture created in her daughter, who lives and breathes the aftermath of this displacement, carrying the burden of the past. Georgie performed this one woman show to a sold out audience in November 2023 and is thrilled to be jumping back into rehearsals next month for its return season later in 2024.

When not performing in theatre, TV or film, Georgie is also directing music video clips for Melbourne musicians. Earlier this year she was employed by Dreamscreen Australia to direct the music video clip for Musician and reality TV star  Gamble Breaux’s soon to be released song ‘Silver Bullet’.
